Job Description
This is an Ocean Import position and the job requires shipment document handling, track and tracing shipments, preparing and processing documentation such as House and Master Bills of Lading. Review / Update fees, customer profiles and rates. Communicate with customers, vendors and company offices to ensure that all information is handled timely and properly. Validate information on carrier websites. Assist in in the processing of cargo, update tracking systems and review / process import documentation. Work with Accounts receivables; coordinate release of goods from Customs, provide advice to customers on import restrictions, tariff systems, insurance and customs requirements.
